CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical peels can reduce or improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scars, uneven skin coloring and other skin imperfections. Different chemicals determine the depth of your peel and type of skin condition treated. Many people can see a significant improvement in the appearance of their skin tone and texture in as little as one peel treatment. This is because a peel functions as an exfoliant, which can drastically improve the superficial quality of your skin.

What should you know before getting a chemical peel?
Don't exfoliate. Since a chemical peel is an in-depth exfoliation, you mustn't exfoliate while peeling. Be mindful of ingredients in your daily skincare products that may have exfoliants to avoid damage to your skin.
Refrain from using makeup. Take time away from wearing makeup for a few days before your treatment and let your skin detox.
Avoid direct sunlight. Avoid the sun as much as possible before your treatment. If you are outside, wear oversized shades or a hat to protect your skin if you plan to be outside for long periods.
Stay hydrated. Stay well-hydrated on the day of your chemical peel. Be sure to discontinue products that may dry out your skin a few days before your appointment. Stay hydrated by drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day.
Don't overexpose yourself to the sun, harsh environments, or pollutants.
Don't waste or use any form of hair removal one week before and one week after treatment.
Don't pick at your skin that may be peeling.
